This CPD-accredited training uses a simulation to allow you to gain a deep understanding of online grooming and the sexual exploitation of young people. It featured in ChildLine's National #listentoyourselfie campaign looking at healthy and unhealthy relationships.
This immersive training addresses the issues of online grooming and the sexual exploitation of young people. By using an interactive simulation, you can gain a deep insight into the grooming process and its implications.The simulation tackles the complexities of what could, at first sight, appear to be a normal relationship. Through the use of social-media style interface, you learn about grooming by tracking the behaviour of the groomer and gain insight into the implications for the victim.
The training covers how to use the interactive storyline when working with children and young people in groups or one to one sessions, using the incorporated reflective questions to promote robust discussion on what constitutes healthy and unhealthy relationships. After the training you have access to the simulation for a year.
