Coach Trip to Dover Castle and Historic Folkestone Sat 15 Nov

Detailed Description

Our day trip by coach to Dover Castle and Folkestone leaves the Canterbury campus at 9am. Ticket price includes admission to Dover Castle keep and precincts. At midday we travel to Folkestone, to visit the historic Harbour Arm and lighthouse (now a memorial to soldiers who lost their lives in WW1, having embarked at Folkestone); and the nearby Folkestone artists' quarter, with its boutique shops, galleries and restaurants. We arrive back at Canterbury campus in the mid-afternoon.
