ISC2 CC Training Course![]() DescriptionInstitute of Cyber Security for Society (iCSS) at the University of Kent is piloting ISC2 CC (Certified in Cybersecurity) training course to help anyone who is interested in starting a cyber security career to get their first industrial certification in cyber security. The course will be the second series of pilot training courses organised by the University of Kent as an Academic Training Partner of ISC2. It will be delivered by an ISC2-authorised instructor, in two days during a single weekend. The training course will be delivered as a hybrid event, so both in-person and remote participants are allowed. ISC2 CC (Certified in Cybersecurity) certification is ISC2's entry-level cyber security certification for beginners. As part of its 1MCC campaign, ISC2 offers free access to its self-paced training materials and also free exam tokens. Upon passing the exam, you pay pay US$50 Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) and fill an online application form to become a certified member of ISC2. ISC2 does not offer free instrutor-led training, which is what this University of Kent training course will provide. KMCC (Kent & Medway Cyber Cluster) is supporting this initiative by promoting the courses to local people who live in the Kent and Medway region and are interested in becoming a cyber security professional in the future. The courses will be organised in a demand-driven and rolling manner: when there are enough (20-30) paid participants, a course will be organised over a weekend convenient for all participants. Those who cannot attend one course will be offered the opportunity to attend a future one.
