School of History Field Trip Payments

Map of europe with coloured pins

Amount (£)

Description

This listing is for students to make payments for School of History field trips.

Detailed Description

For some trips, an initial deposit will be payable, with the balance due later. For some trips, it may be necessary to take payment of the full amount up front. Students will be advised separately how much is payable for the specific trip being undertaken, and the deadline for making their payment(s).

Please note that all field trip payments are non-refundable. The only exception to this is where we are forced to cancel a trip, in which case a full refund will be made.

All students participating in field trips involving an overnight stay are required to register for the University of Kent’s travel insurance. For any trip outside of the UK, students are also required to complete an Overseas Travel Health Questionnaire and provide passport data. Full instructions will be provided regarding completion of the forms, along with deadlines for completion. It is the responsibility of the student who is travelling to ensure that they have completed everything requested by the deadline provided. Failure to do so may mean you are unable to travel.

It is an individual student’s responsibility to find out if they need a visa to travel overseas, and to make the necessary arrangements to obtain any visa required in good time. Please note that we are unable to provide advice on obtaining travel visas.

All field trips will be risk assessed in advance by the member of staff responsible for organising the trip.
