Detailed Description

The data entry tool supplements the ASCOT SCT4 ER instrument. The data entry tool is an MS Excel file that generates social care-related quality of life (SCRQoL) scores for each individual. These scores are calculated from data entered from the ASCOT SCT4 ER questionnaire by the user. Upon entering data, a SCRQoL score for each participant is automatically calculated. The tool also produces a summary of the distribution of responses to each ASCOT SCT4 ER question (frequencies and percentages) and charts.

The ASCOT SCT4 preference weights are programmed into the file and not bespoke ASCOT SCT4 ER preference weights. Caution is therefore advised when interpreting results. These weights are currently used in the absence of other available data and may be subject to change/update.
